Based at our Tranmere Corporate Office, as our Payroll Team Leader, you will provide strong leadership to the Payroll Team, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance, support staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality payroll services in line with Helping Hand’s standards and customer service ethos. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and comprehensive payroll system, ensuring the timely processing of both fortnightly and ad-hoc payrolls. This role also involves delivering accurate payroll calculations, including back payments, termination payments, end of month processing, FBT reporting and end of financial year reconciliations. You'll also make an impact by: Assisting with the efficient provision of administration support to stakeholders Providing support and assistance to the Payroll Team providing services to sites Generating payroll and statistical reports using a variety of data management systems, maintaining a high level of data integrity. Interpreting and ensuring compliance with relevant awards / agreements ensuring payroll conditions and benefits are accurate. Delivering effective project outcomes within the agreed timeframes. What you'll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Minimum of 10 years of payroll experience. Extensive knowledge of industrial awards and general conditions of employment associated with wages/salary payments. Intermediate / Advanced skills using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and managers to explain issues with patience and education. The ability to work in a busy environment. Valid NDIS screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
