We are currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and passionate casual Educators to join our friendly and supportive teams across both our Early Learning Centre and Outside of School Hours and Vacation Care Service, starting immediately. Your Role: As an Educator, you will be responsible for providing practical support to the teaching staff, assisting with student learning, completing routine administrative tasks and assisting with daily duties. Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. Key Responsibilities may include; Early Learning Centre: Assisting students with learning, individually and in small groups, in all key education areas; Carrying out effective supervision of children according to the ELC Supervision Plan; Carrying out administrative tasks such as typing, data entry, photocopying, laminating, binding and guillotining as advised by the Teacher; Modifying, implementing and overseeing learning programs under the guidance of the qualified Teacher; Assisting parents with general enquiries, and directing other parent enquiries to the appropriate staff member helping to build quality, long lasting relations; Assisting as additional person on excursions, events, incursions etc. Supporting a positive team culture, that is reflective and committed to continuous improvement. Outside of School Hours Care: Assisting with programming and day to day organisation; Prioritising children’s health and safety; Engaging in joyful, educational activities, inspiring a love for learning; Assisting in the development and implementation of a fun, safe and stimulating program for the children attending the OSHC service; Completing program documentation and/or observations in accordance with service expectations; Carrying out effective supervision of children according to the OSHC Supervision Plan; Completing relevant daily administration duties under the guidance of the Educational Leader; Be flexible in following the changing interests and needs of the children; Developing positive and respectful relationships with children and families.
