Bringing your specialised knowledge and professional expertise, you will contribute to accurate diagnostics, effective workflows, and the highest standards of patient care. Your skills in analysis, troubleshooting and applying scientific judgement will ensure reliable results while supporting innovation and continual improvement across the service. In this role, you will work closely with the Laboratory Manager, assisting in quality management systems, NATA compliance, and day-to-day laboratory operations. You will also contribute to staff development, foster a positive team culture, and be relied upon to step into leadership when required. About You You are a qualified and detail-oriented Medical Scientist who brings strong technical expertise, sound laboratory knowledge, and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality pathology services. With the ability to work under limited supervision, you thrive in a collaborative environment while ensuring precision and reliability in every task. Hold an appropriate degree in pathology (or equivalent qualification as defined by NPAAC/AIMS) with demonstrated competence to perform laboratory functions. Proven ability to deliver high-quality laboratory testing, applying technical skills, problem-solving, and initiative in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience motivating staff, collaborating with peers, and providing excellent customer service. Extensive knowledge of relevant medical laboratory disciplines, including quality control, equipment maintenance, and the use of laboratory software applications.
