Sport and Recreation are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic professional to join our ACT Academy of Sport (ACTAS) team as the Performance Health Lead. The Performance Health Lead will work within the Performance Services team that provide athletic performance, sport science and sports medicine services to selected athletes from Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games sports. The Performance Health Lead will lead a dynamic team and work collaboratively across all areas of ACTAS, alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality performance services are delivered to ACTAS athletes. Eligibility/Other requirements: Essential: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) Master of Sports Physiotherapy (or equivalent) Titled APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist Professional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) Current Professional Indemnity Insurance Current CPR and First Aid Certificate Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
