In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to: Plan & Coordinate: Develop and review commissioning plans and procedures; align activities with the overall project schedule. System Testing & Validation: Conduct and witness pre-commissioning and commissioning tests across electrical, instrumentation, controls, and mechanical systems. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all systems meet client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Technical Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues, collaborating with engineering and construction teams to address system discrepancies. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities and test results; generate clear reports for the Commissioning Manager. Health & Safety: Enforce HSE standards, conduct safety assessments, and ensure all work is completed safely and responsibly. Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand expectations, provide regular progress updates, and resolve any concerns. Training & Handover: Train operations staff on new systems and manage a smooth handover from commissioning to operations. Drawing & Documentation Review: Ensure current project drawings are in use; redline/greenline as needed and provide feedback on workflow documents. Field Execution: Attend walkdowns, verify isolations, close out punch items, and review CCMS records and dynamic commissioning procedures. System Transfer Support: Assist in the transition of systems from construction through commissioning to final handover. Team Collaboration: Provide technical guidance, contribute to knowledge sharing, and ensure effective shift handovers. About You: Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, supported by a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the Instrumentation field. You will bring demonstrated experience in applying industry standards, codes, and regulations, with a strong focus on safety and compliance. Functional Safety experience is preferred, along with proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with commissioning and completions software such as Honeywell and Hexagon is essential.
