We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Systems Engineer to start in Wagga Wagga, Australia to support Australian client sites for a growing New Zealand automation systems integration company. This person will need experience programming in PLC / HMI / and SCADA with PLC code development experience in the food and beverage industries. This role is for a growing company that is one of the leading automation companies in New Zealand that is expanding into Australia. You would be working for customers providing automation solutions for new project development in the food and beverage industry. This person must be passionate about supporting automation systems through the use of PLCs, HMIs and SCADA. You will need to have demonstrated ability to lead projects through design, develop, and deploy new products for manufacturing and process automation solutions. The person must be fully conversant with a range of electrical procedures in the field of factory automation - design, programming, commissioning, maintenance, support, troubleshooting, research and development. Programming skills (PLC / HMI / SCADA) with a variety of PLCs such as: Rockwell - Alen-Bradly; ControlLogix / CompactLogix / MicroLogix / SLC series Schnieder M580 and M340 Siemens Experience with designing and programming HMI and SCADA system: Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE for SCADA and ME for HMI Wonderware System Platform FTViewSE WinCC SCADA Platforms - Citect, IFIX, Ignition Experience A degree with Mechatronics courses or related field OR 4 years experience as a full-time Automation Engineer supporting systems and delivering projects that required both PLC, HMI and SCADA programming. Have excellent spoken communication skills. Have experience with PLC code development in food and beverage technologies. Have engineering skills utilising Schneider, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC’s. Experience with HMI systems development including Wonderware System Platform, Ignition, IFIX, FTViewSE and WinCC.
