You will be working in a hospital that provides comprehensive acute care services to a population of approximately 116,000. The hospital features a fully equipped emergency department, inpatient and outpatient services, and is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Rural Clinical School of the University of Tasmania. You will be part of a dynamic medical team delivering high-quality care. The department of Medicine has a team of eleven general medicine physicians across the region currently providing general medicine services and have subspecialties/interests in endocrinology, geriatrics, nephrology, cardiology and infectious diseases.
