Lead our workshop and depot facilities to meet high safety and quality standards. We are seeking a dynamic Workshop Asset & Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our workshop and depot facilities. This hands-on role involves managing a small team, coordinating resources, and ensuring maintenance activities meet high-quality standards. Your leadership will support our Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality (HSEQ) and Asset Management Systems (AMS) commitments. Duties Coordinate and deliver hands on maintenance for bus and depot assets. Manage resources for optimal bus and asset performance. Conduct unscheduled repairs and attend breakdowns. Adhere to safety standards and manage stock levels. Address concerns and improve bus and depot asset planning. Liaise with General Manager on compliance issues. About You Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Minimum 'MR' class licence and passenger transport authorisation. 5 years' experience in diesel mechanics with Translink QLD fleet vehicles / or similar HV operation. Possess a forklift licence or ability to attain one. Desirable: Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or related qualifications. High commitment to customer service and ethical practice. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
