The Role Reporting to the Coordinator Building Surveyor and based in Windsor NSW, the Senior Building Surveyor position is available on a temporary full-time basis. This position provides an efficient and effective service in relation to certification work, fire safety and development assessment to ensure that development achieves Council’s objectives. Constraints you will be exposed to include bushfire, flooding, heritage, landslip, threatened species, koala habitat, acid sulphate soils, to name a few. You will need a strong work ethic and be willing to take on challenges. Opportunities exist for process improvements and special projects. About You You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments. You will be experienced in negotiation and problem solving and have highly developed report writing skills. You will be customer centric and be committed to providing quality customer service.
