What’s The Role: We're seeking a motivated Boilermaker / Body and Coach Builder to join our team based at our Coffs Harbour Workshop. This hands on role will provide you the opportunity to work on a variety of different duties in Heavy Vehicle Body Building and Repairs. Working within our Trailer Repairs Division, this position is ideal for someone with fabrication experience, a strong work ethic, and a team-focused attitude, with opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Your main responsibilities will include: Completing various repairs and refurbishments to trailer bodies, including but not limited to new floors, doors, delaminations, repairs to door corners, walls inside and out. Cut, bend, mould and shape metals to repair or fabricate parts. Fits and assembles metal components by welding, riveting, bolting, and soldering. MIG Welding and Fabrication of trailers. Basic servicing and other duties as required. What You’ll Bring: Vehicle body building / panel beating, fabricating and/or welding certificates / trade qualification. Understanding and ability to interpret shop drawings. Previous experience in a similar role highly regarded. Proficiency in welding (MIG), cutting and fabrication. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills. Commitment to workplace health and safety. Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
