At the heart of ESG’s portfolio is eDog, one of its largest and fastest-growing categories. With strong year-on-year growth and expansion plans into new markets, ESG is seeking an experienced Brand Marketing Specialist to take ownership of the pet vertical and drive the next phase of brand growth. The Opportunity As Brand Marketing Specialist, you will be the dedicated brand lead for eDog, responsible for shaping and executing strategies that increase visibility, capture market share, and accelerate category growth. Working closely with the Head of Brand and supported by a 22-person central marketing function, you’ll combine brand strategy, campaign execution, and content oversight to build eDog’s presence across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and potentially Europe. What You’ll Do Brand strategy: Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with ESG’s commercial objectives. Campaign management: Lead the annual marketing calendar across paid, earned, and owned channels, briefing creative and digital teams to deliver high-impact campaigns. Category growth: Identify opportunities for market and product expansion, supporting ESG’s transition to a brand-led business model. Competitive positioning: Drive brand visibility in a highly competitive pet category. Social and content collaboration: Guide the social and influencer strategy to ensure consistency and compelling storytelling across all channels. Performance Insights: Monitor category performance and provide actionable insights to inform marketing and product decisions. About You 5 years’ experience in brand marketing, ideally within ecommerce, consumer goods, or agency environments. Confident with campaign planning and management Experience implementing brand strategy Commercial acumen a bonus (competitor analysis, market sizing, pricing strategy, etc) Resilient, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments where pivots are common.
