We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading construction Tier 2 commercial builder in Canberra, supporting the delivery of high-profile projects across the ACT region. This Tier 2 builder is experiencing strong growth, making it an exciting time to come on board. As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving project delivery, supporting the site and project management teams, and ensuring construction works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. You will be responsible for: Assisting with planning, programming, and coordination of construction activities. Managing subcontractors and suppliers. Monitoring project costs, budgets, and progress against program. Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. Preparing reports, schedules, and project documentation. About You: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Previous experience as a Project Engineer (or Site Engineer stepping up) within the construction industry. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail. Experience on commercial, defence, or government projects will be highly regarded.
