Job Description Join the Nine News Melbourne team as a vital part of our Media Exchange department. You will be responsible for the ingestion of media, working closely with the Master Control department to ensure smooth daily news operations. This role is a rotating shift position, including weekends, nights, and early mornings. Day to day you will: You'll accurately record and ingest media, following the Nine Network Australia (NNA) naming conventions and a strict material management regime. Communicate media availability to various stakeholders and cooperate with clients via written or verbal communication. Play out material for bulletins and affiliate distributions, and quickly turn around breaking news for live broadcast, working closely with the on-air production team. Select the most appropriate workflows for the media you're working with. Be responsible for the timely and accurate transfer of file-based material to external clients and affiliates.
