Design & Engineering CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 170 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. The Opportunity We are currently seeking an Electrical Design Drafters to join our Primary Engineering Team in our Adelaide head office. You will work on innovative high voltage infrastructure projects for the National Electricity Grid including substations, grid connections, and battery storage. Supporting the design and construction of our projects whilst delivering high quality results, to meet standards and project deadlines. Your responsibilities will include undertaking, managing and producing high quality design artefacts, technical documentation and other work tasks to agreed deadlines, standards and in accordance with the project plans. Skills And Experiences About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: The ability to interpret and implement design information provided by Primary Design Engineers, Civil Design Engineers and Design Managers Previous experience producing CAD drawings in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for compliance with client requirements and standards, to ensure completeness prior to issuing for manufacturing/construction Experience with 3D design highly regarded however not essential Essential: Previous experience in substation design Tertiary studies are highly regarded Be rewarded at CPP.
