About the Role We are looking an exceptional Chef De Partie who enjoys working and living in an island resort environment with a dynamic team. The position is located at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K'gari (Fraser Island). Kingfisher Bay Resort is part of the KBRV Resort Operations Pty Ltd, and a subsidiary of Kelsian Group Limited. Reporting directly to the Director of F&B services this is a full-time permanent position where you'll live and work in paradise. The base salary for this role is between $75,000 to $80,000 The job entails: Preparing, cooking, and presenting meals to a high standard, following menu guidelines and direction from the Executive Sous Chef. Leading and mentoring junior kitchen staff, including Apprentices and Kitchen Stewards. Ensuring kitchen hygiene, food safety, and equipment maintenance meet resort standards. Supporting stock management, stock take, and minimising food wastage Liaising with wait staff for smooth service and timely meal delivery Maintaining accurate time and attendance records in line with roster requirements Participating in training, team meetings, and ongoing professional development Promoting a positive kitchen culture, teamwork, and safety-first mindset Identifying process improvements and assisting with kitchen setup (on-site and off-site) Upholding SeaLink’s C.O.M.P.A.S.S. values and contributing to a high level of guest satisfaction.
