Job Description About the role As site engineer, you will provide technical and administrative support to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards, drawings and specifications. You will be responsible for supporting project delivery through documentation, planning, site inspections, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include: Support project delivery to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. Prepare and maintain project documentation, registers, and work packs. Conduct Material Take Offs (MTOs), document reviews, and gap analyses. Raise and manage TQs/RFIs and support project reporting requirements. Inspect materials and works to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Assist with scheduling, progress tracking, and subcontractor coordination. Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Identify risks, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement. Desired Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you must hold the following traits, skills, and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with CAD software (12D, Navisworks, AutoCAD or similar desirable). High attention to detail with strong literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to identify problems, analyse solutions, and communicate strategies for resolution. Understanding of construction engineering terminology, conventions, and methodologies (civil, SMP). Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence in stakeholder engagement. Previous experience in a site-based construction engineering environment.
