This includes psycho-education, performance psychology training, and consulting through our Athlete Assistance Program (AAP). This role offers flexibility, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work in a purpose-built venue designed to support excellence in mental health care. Key Responsibilities Client Support: Assess, treat, and refer clients with psychological disorders, life adjustments, and performance enhancement needs. Caseload Management: Maintain client records and oversee client engagement and retention. Sport Psychology Services: Deliver individual and group services to athletes and high performers, both on-site and at sporting venues. Professional Development: Participate in supervision, training, and industry best practices. About You You are an experienced, compassionate professional with a passion for sport and performance psychology and for providing exceptional client-focused care. You value collaboration, continuous learning, and the opportunity to support others in achieving their mental health goals. The ideal candidate will have: Qualifications: AHPRA-registered psychologist with Medicare registration and Sport & Exercise registrar status or endorsement Sport & Performance: Experience in private practice, sport, or high-performance environments. Expertise: Knowledge of third-wave therapies (ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, EMDR) and experience providing individual psychology services to adults, including assessment, treatment, risk management and referral within a Private Practice in the mental health and wellbeing industry or similar mental health setting. Assessment: Strong assessment, treatment, and risk management skills.
