About the Role: We’re seeking a Consultant to support clinical site training and procedural cases in Australia. This is an ideal project for someone passionate about advancing structural heart interventions while working with a groundbreaking device. Position Type: Consultant (approx. 10 hours per month) Contract Duration: 12 months Location: Remote with travel to clinical sites in Australia Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on training and procedural support for clinical teams at designated sites. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful device implementation during LAAO procedures. Educate healthcare professionals on best practices for imaging modalities (TEE, ICE, fluoroscopy) and procedural techniques. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure optimal patient outcomes during device deployment. Required Experience: Proven clinical experience with LAAO devices (e.g., WATCHMAN, AMPLATZER, or similar). Hands-on involvement in LAAO procedures, including transseptal puncture techniques. Proficiency in cardiac imaging modalities used during LAAO procedures (TEE, ICE, fluoroscopy). Experience training clinical teams and supporting live cases. Current registration in Australia or New Zealand as a medical professional (preferred).
