At Woodhouse Adventure Park, we’re looking for a capable, practical, and self-motivated Maintenance & Services Officer to help keep our 54-hectare property safe, functional, and looking its best. From general repairs and infrastructure checks to mowing, pruning and getting things guest-ready, this is a hands-on, full-time role where no two days are quite the same. Whether it’s a school camp, wedding, or family weekend away - your work helps create the kind of experience that people remember for all the right reasons. Description What you’ll be doing General property maintenance across buildings, amenities, and basecamps Basic repairs (patching, painting, fixing, adjusting) and minor projects Grounds upkeep - mowing, pruning, clearing debris and managing seasonal tasks Setting up equipment and assisting with guest preparation (e.g. fire drums, BBQs, signage) Performing routine checks (e.g. gas bottles, water systems, hazards) Reporting issues and logging tasks using internal job tracking systems Supporting volunteers and contractors when needed Skills And Experiences What you’ll need A good set of practical skills and a hands-on mindset Experience in general maintenance, groundskeeping or similar work The ability to work independently and manage your time well Confidence using tools and small machinery Physical fitness and comfort working outdoors in all weather A current SA driver’s license and police clearance (or willingness to obtain) Why you’ll love it here Your “office” is 54 hectares of bushland and hills Supportive, welcoming team that works hard and laughs often Purpose-led not-for-profit that makes a real difference Full-time hours, with some flexibility for the right person Opportunities to work on projects and take ownership of the site’s presentation Essential (or have the ability to obtain) the following: National Police Check WWCC If you are interested in this role, please click Apply to submit your application by Monday 20 October 2025.
