About the Role As the Director of Compliance & Communications, you will oversee the regulatory obligations and compliance operations. Your role will focus on ensuring the centre operates smoothly, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting the growth and development of the families, team/staff, and the community. To lead, guide and support a team: Implement high-quality early childhood education and care standards and compliance for children. Utilize innovative practice to achieve significant improvements for the rating of Exceeding. Employ innovative practice to achieve significant improvements for children and families, the local community and organisations, and the wider education and care sector. Key Responsibilities Support and mentor educators and staff in the consistent, accurate and timely completion of all centre records in relation to the day-to-day functioning of the centre. Contribution to policies, procedures, QIP and all relevant documentation required. Complete any relevant and associated documentation. Guidance of staff behaviours, attitudes and workplace performance in collaboration with the fellow Directors. Work in collaboration with fellow Directors to guide and make requests of staff to improve performance. Actively monitoring staff performance and compliance with policies, National Regulations and Law, NQF, job descriptions, code of conduct and ethics and any other relevant documents. Maintaining relevant documentation and sharing with Director of People & Policy where required. About You You’re authentic, passionate about working with children, and a natural communicator. You are a strong leader, articulate, commercial and professional. Accept supervision and provide direction. Effective time management skills. Work in collaboration with fellow Directors to guide and make requests of staff to improve performance. Hold a completed Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved) Child Protection Qualification. Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
