Description We have an opportunity for a talented Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across on-highway, construction, mining, and agriculture customers based at our Emerald branch. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products Diagnose and repair various engines Engine rebuilding and reconditioning Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and components Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Australian recognised mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Plant mechanic. Light vehicle with heavy vehicle experience may also be considered Previous repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential Kenworth, Western Star, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable Qualifications Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products Diagnose and repair various engines Engine rebuilding and reconditioning Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and components
