The Company Our client is a family-owned business with a rich history spanning multiple generations. The business supplies quality beef products across Australia and premium export markets in over 25 countries. The company has several manufacturing facilities located in Victoria and Tasmania. The Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and supervise the QA Officers in maintaining the Quality Management System, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products to Australian customers. Reporting to the Site Quality Assurance Manager, the role will be based at the manufacturing site in Moe, Gippsland. Responsibilities Supervise the compliance of Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs to meet Regulatory requirements, Overseas Country requirements, and customer specifications, ensuring ultimate compliance with the company's Quality Management System. Monitor the implementation of effective QA practices Facilitate with the QAM the quarterly Management Review meetings, reviewing all quality-related issues raised during the previous quarter, including customer complaints and Incident reports. Prepare for review and discussion at the quarterly Management meetings, an analysis of all the CAR/NCR response reports outlining the investigations taken, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventative measures recommended. Requirements At least four to five years’ experience Supervising Quality Assurance and Management Programs Prior experience in liaising with Food Regulatory Departments Previous experience in the red meat industry is required Cert IV in Meat Processing (Quality Assurance), HACCP etc Location & Remuneration A competitive remuneration package is on offer to attract the right person to this role.
