The Opportunity This is not a purely administrative role; it is a genuine development apprenticeship. Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be immersed in the commercial realities of managing projects through every stage of their lifecycle. You will be trained to become a future leader, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of development skills. Your key accountabilities will include: Assisting the Development Manager in overseeing the project vision, strategy, commercial objectives, and key deliverables. Supporting financial management, cost control, and forecasting. Working with internal and external stakeholders—including consultants, authorities, and builders—to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Progressively accumulating the "hard and soft technical skills" required to run complex projects, from planning and engineering to sales and marketing. Who We're Looking For We are seeking a rising star—a commercially astute and driven individual who is ready to learn and make a tangible impact. You will have: Experience: Approximately 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in the property and development industry or a related field. Qualifications: An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Property, Planning, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline. Commercial Acumen: An understanding of the macro and micro factors that drive the housing market. Strong financial modelling, analysis, and budgeting skills are highly desirable. Attitude: You are a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
