The Finance Manager will oversee all financial management, compliance, and reporting activities while providing insights to guide executive decision-making. Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting systems, reconciliations, and month-end processes. Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and performance analyses. Monitor cash flow, cost controls, and working capital requirements. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax obligations, and industry regulations. Provide financial insights on investment decisions, contracts, and risk management. Evaluate and report on the financial performance of logistics operations and service contracts. Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Lead the preparation and submission of BAS, tax returns, and other statutory filings. Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial efficiency. Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost-saving measures. Support strategic business initiatives with financial modelling and scenario planning. Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and other finance functions. Mentor and manage finance staff to build capability within the team. Provide timely and actionable financial insights to the Directors. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum 1 year’s experience in a financial management role, ideally within logistics, transport, FMCG, or related industries. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance requirements in Australia. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with commercial acumen. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity.
