Due to a recent promotion within their QLD and largest operation there is a current need for a driven and hands on Service Team Leader to join and lead their team of company and contracted technical support agents. The role will be based from their office located near Browns Plains The Role Reporting to the National Service Manager, your responsibilities will be to: Provide leadership in the day-to-day management of Service Technicians. Assess, develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the service team is operating efficiently. Act as a point of escalation for technical queries, OH&S and any team related issues. Provide onboarding and technical support to internal and external partners including training and performance management. Assess and report on product performance Communicate any service difficulties in the field with the scheduling team. Diagnose and repair technical equipment in the field - escalated. Have a Customer Centric attitude - competent service procedures, professional presentation and appearance and professional communication with all clients Develop and deliver technical training to the Service Sales and Customer Service teams Preferred Experience The successful candidate will have the below: Team Management experience Technical product service exposure - Mechanical/Electronics/HVAC/Plumbing/Trade/Equipment industries favoured Ability to influence and motivate teams Ability to handle client queries and complaints Exceptional communication and customer service skills Strong organisational skills Ability to identify, communicate and implement efficiencies and process improvements The ability to multi-task and prioritise The Offer You will be joining a forward thinking industry leader that will help you to achieve your full potential.
