This role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining specialised fuel transport equipment, including truck fuel tankers, aviation refuelling systems, and associated prime movers. This opportunity offers long-term stability and growth with projects extending into 2026 and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Fabricate and install electrical boxes and components Interpret and work from electrical circuit diagrams Diagnose and resolve electrical faults Install and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Route and terminate electrical looms and wiring Service and maintain electrical systems in fuel tanker fleets, ensuring compliance with aviation and road transport standards Read and apply workshop and engineering drawings Manage tasks effectively, both independently and within a team Apply mechanical aptitude daily Qualifications & Requirements: Trade qualification in a relevant electrical field Possession of personal tools (specialist tools provided) Two professional references from previous employers Legal right to work in Australia Residency in Melbourne, Victoria Why Choose TRS Resourcing?
