The Roles Fabrication Technician (Senior Level – 3 to 5 years experience) As a more experienced Fabrication Technician, you will: Read and interpret drawings including GAs, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams. Apply knowledge of hydrostatic and pneumatic testing methods for piping integrity. Work hands-on with tools, pipe cutters, and solvent welding techniques. Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Salary Range: $87,000 – $95,000 superannuation Fabrication Technician (Junior Level – 1 to 3 years experience) As an early-career Fabrication Technician, you will: Gain experience in reading and understanding fabrication and engineering drawings. Apply knowledge of hydrostatic and pneumatic testing methods. Develop skills with hand tools, pipe cutters, and solvent welding techniques. Work closely with the fabrication team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
