My client is a specialist investment manager who are looking to expand their accounting team. This is a newly created role which offers the flexibility to work from home multiple days each week. The role: Oversee and prepare monthly financial reports and statutory financial statements Ensure strong hands-on financial controls and appropriate processes and procedures are in place across the business Ensure compliance with changes in accounting policies and technical accounting issues which impact the business. Manage the relationship with outsourced service providers and ensure the business maintains appropriate internal controls to safeguard investments. Lead various projects including the implementation of new systems and upgrades. Identify, drive and support major productivity and efficiency improvements to optimise returns. The candidate: Successful candidates will have: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting role, within financial services. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High attention to detail.
