Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounts receivable or sales administration? A well-established, Australian-owned company in the materials handling and industrial equipment sector is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Sales Officer to join their team in Prestons, NSW . This role supports both the finance and sales teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely invoicing, and effective credit control. You’ll also liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and improve systems. Key Responsibilities: Review and enter customer orders, confirming pricing, discounts, and delivery details Issue timely and accurate invoices and allocate customer payments Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments Investigate billing or payment discrepancies and provide resolution Assist with monthly claims and reporting in coordination with the contracts team Maintain customer records and support the credit application process Prepare AR reports and assist with audit and compliance requirements Work across departments to improve order-to-cash workflows and support new staff onboarding What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in accounts receivable, finance admin, bookkeeping or sales support Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers Solid communication skills for working with both customers and internal teams Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred) Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel and Outlook Understanding of GST, invoicing, reconciliations, and basic compliance A positive, proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to team improvements CPA/CA qualifications are a bonus but not essential This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working in a close-knit, supportive team environment.
