Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives on variety, autonomy and making a real impact? This is your chance to join an established, successful, young Perth construction company that is bringing HR in-house for the first time. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll have end-to-end responsibility for all HR activities across the business. In this role, you’ll: Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, probation reviews and HR documentation Design, review and develop position descriptions and a full suite of HR and payroll policies, procedures and processes Lead initiatives for continual improvement of HR systems and processes Provide practical generalist HR advice to management and employees Manage training needs analysis, learning & development and upskilling initiatives Interpret Enterprise Agreements, awards, Fair Work Act requirements, and National Employment Standards Lead case investigations, grievances, disciplinaries and performance management Design, develop and implement performance review processes Facilitate coaching, development programs and training sessions Develop and implement Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) initiatives Manage employee engagement surveys and develop programs to enhance culture Provide HR data analysis and reporting as required About You Proven experience in a broad Human Resources role, ideally within construction industry (or a similar industry) in Australia Relevant tertiary HR qualifications, or significant relevant experience Strong knowledge of HR compliance, systems and best practice Confident working independently and establishing HR processes from the ground up Excellent communicator—approachable, people-focused, and collaborative Hands-on, practical problem solver who thrives on variety and autonomy Why You’ll Love This Role Flexible part-time schedule (approx. 3 days per week) to suit your lifestyle or other commitments Broad, hands-on scope—covering transactional, operational, and strategic HR activities Real opportunity to shape HR and company culture from the ground up Supportive, close-knit and collaborative team environment Please note Visa sponsorship is NOT AVAILABLE for this role Apply Today If you’re a hands-on HR professional who thrives in an autonomous role this is an ideal opportunity for you!
