We are seeking a Café / Restaurant Manager to join our client at an upmarket hotel in Tingalpa, Brisbane QLD on a permanent full-time basis. Candidates with Hospitality Management qualifications or equivalent experience are encouraged to apply. As a Café / Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for: Planning menus in consultation with Chefs. Planning and organising special functions. Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods in line with budget. Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions. Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and remain clean, functional, and of suitable appearance. Conferring with customers to assess satisfaction with meals and service. Selecting, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff. Engaging with customers regarding concerns, complaints, and queries in a professional manner. Ensuring company policies, procedures, and values are followed by staff. Organising and allocating staff shifts. Monitoring and enforcing health and safety standards across the venue, educating staff as required. Ensuring compliance with OH&S, Liquor Licensing, and other regulatory requirements. To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate: Formal qualifications with at least 1 year of relevant full-time employment experience; or in the absence of qualifications, a minimum of 3 years’ relevant employment experience. A strong focus on delivering efficient and effective customer service. Punctuality, strong leadership, and excellent organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business goals. Access to reliable transport.
