Talent Focus's Client is a leading Switchboard Manufacturer that is seeking Drafters, Project Managers and QA Officers. Switchboard Drafter Responsibilities Produce accurate switchboard drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Interpret client specifications, electrical schematics, and single-line diagrams. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production staff to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable. Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and project documentation. Provide technical drafting support during project delivery. Skills & Experience Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD tools). Strong technical knowledge of switchboard layouts and busbar arrangements. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Project Manager – Switchboard Manufacturing Responsibilities Manage switchboard projects from tender through to delivery. Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and procurement requirements. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget. Prepare and deliver project reports to management and stakeholders. Skills & Experience Background in project management within electrical or manufacturing industries. Strong organisational and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Solid understanding of switchboard manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Quality Assurance (QA) Officer – Switchboard Manufacturing Responsibilities Implement and monitor QA processes in line with AS/NZS 61439, 3000, and company standards. Conduct inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain QA records, non-conformance reports, and test documentation. Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency. Skills & Experience Knowledge of QA/QC processes in electrical manufacturing. Familiarity with AS/NZS standards and electrical testing procedures. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to document, report, and follow up on non-conformances. Experience with continuous improvement and compliance systems
