About the role The role of Senior Dental Assistant will work as a member of the Oral Health Management Team which provides leadership, management and support to the oral health teams in West Moreton Hospital Health Service (WMHHS). The role requires the ability to organise, manage and provide dental assistant services and systems to dental professionals and clients to optimise the dental health of the Health Service. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, organisational skills and communication skills Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-skilled team Demonstrate sound knowledge of dental terminology and surgery procedures Demonstrate sound knowledge relevant to infection control and sterilisation practices Demonstrate sound knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel Mandatory Requirements: Appointment at Senior Dental Assistant requires an employee to possess a pre-requisite qualification of one of the following: Possession of Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent.
