This role can be full-time or part-time, based at our head office in Glen Iris. About the Role Reporting to the Head of Strategic Operations, this newly established role is vital to ensuring consistent and compliant rostering across all of our services nationwide. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and optimising rostering systems, policies, and practices while balancing workforce compliance, service quality, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with senior leadership to manage and evolve rostering policies. Overseeing daily roster accuracy and alignment with child-to-staff ratios and attendance forecasts. Identifying and escalating policy exceptions while maintaining a centralised log of approvals. Designing dashboards and reports that provide actionable compliance and operational insights. Administering rostering systems and providing hands-on support and training to Area Managers. About You You are analytical, detail-oriented, and deeply understand the nuances of workforce planning and compliance—particularly in a childcare or service-based setting. We’re looking for someone with: Experience in workforce management, rostering, or operations compliance. A strong understanding of staffing ratio regulations and compliance in the childcare sector. High proficiency with rostering and knowledge of HR software (Human force) Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
