Join to apply for the Head of Sales role at Eppendorf The Head of Sales is a leadership role responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing the direct sales teams and dealer sales partners, and achieving the company’s revenue goals. This role will define the direction of sales efforts, identify growth opportunities, and ensure that sales targets are met. The Head of Sales will support and nurture a team of sales professionals and channel partners to implement the sales strategy. The role is part of the leadership team and will work with other senior leaders to set and implement the Go-To-Market Strategy for the Australian and New Zealand markets. Responsibilities Develop GTM sales strategy as part of the country/region strategy to achieve market share gains and sustainable growth. Identify market opportunities and target segments for business growth. Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities and optimizing existing client and partnership relationships. Develop, implement and monitor sales effectiveness programs across all sales channels to build a high-performance sales team. Sales focus Deliver strategic and operational objectives for the ongoing growth of Eppendorf, aligned with global strategies. Develop sales strategies to improve volume per customer segment and collaborate with internal and external teams to implement. Achieve budgeted sales and operating margins within approved expenses. Provide regular sales activity reports, including weekly forecasts. Foster staff development and identify opportunities for advancement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with Marketing, Service and Customer Care to deliver a first-in-class customer experience. Support sales budgeting with a bottom-up approach and manage sales expenses within budget. Act professionally and in accordance with the code of conduct; ensure compliance with applicable laws in markets managed; assist the Sales Director for Asia Pacific as requested. Market Awareness and Sales monitoring Monitor market and competition and recommend course corrections to achieve goals. Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities. Provide market data and reports to regional and global teams. Develop analytics to track sales performance, including pipeline, forecasts, CRM usage, and lead management. Key Tasks Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor success across channels and territories. Set individual goals and performance expectations; participate in compensation planning aligned with company strategy. Lead dealers/salespeople to achieve strategic and financial goals; conduct performance reviews and provide coaching. Provide sales forecasts and handle escalated customer issues; support HR processes to ensure engagement and compliance. Ensure proper supervision of sales activities and use of sales tools across the country. Special Projects Assist with special projects where expertise adds value to business development.
