Job Description We have a vacancy for candidates interested in teaching-focused roles in Medicine. A part-time (0.4 FTE - 40%) Lecturer (Level B) opportunity is available in Medical Education in support of clinical, practical and classroom teaching in the Doctor of Medicine. This role will contribute towards teaching in the medical program, with a focus in the areas of law, ethics and professional practice. The successful candidate will be expected to make informed contributions to the teaching effort of the School, and to carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly, and / or professional activities relevant to the medicine discipline. They will also be expected to perform the full academic responsibilities and related administration in support of the development, coordination and delivery of courses in the Doctor of Medicine program. This is a continuing, part-time position based at the Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The part-time equivalent base salary for a 40% FTE at the Academic Lecturer (Level B) ranges from $45,290 - $53,784 per annum 17% superannuation. The total part-time package will range from $52,989 - $62,927.
