We’re seeking a dependable, hands-on General Hand to support our electrical fitters. This is a versatile role, involving practical tasks which help maintain workflow and efficiency the workshop . Role is temp to perm long term opportunity $33 per hour with OT Key Responsibilities Assist electrical fitters with on-site and workshop preparation (retrieving tools, materials, assisting setup). Perform general warehouse duties: unpacking deliveries, stock handling, picking/packing orders. Using a pressure washer to wash down large electrical motors Maintain workshop, warehouse, and van/common work areas: clean, organise, and keep safe. Help with assembly of components, cable preparation, or other basic electrical/electronic support tasks where applicable. Follow safety protocols, maintain tools and equipment, ensure PPE and White Card compliance. Skills & Requirements Previous experience as a general hand or similar role. Comfortable with manual handling, lifting, moving equipment, and physical work. Reliable, punctual, good work ethic, strong communication skills. Ability to follow directions and also work proactively when needed. Current Manual Driver’s Licence preferred. Basic understanding of tools, workshop practices, or exposure to electrical/electronic components is a plus.
