Nextt is currently seeking Disability Support Workers to support individuals in the Nambucca Heads and Valla areas. We are hiring for both 2:1 complex care and 1:1 community/in-home support roles. These are hands-on roles requiring a high level of reliability, compassion, and professionalism. Available Shifts: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM (daily) 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM (daily) 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Wednesdays & Fridays) Role Requirements for Complex Care Support: Supporting a bed-bound client with high physical care needs Manual handling and use of appropriate equipment required Bowel care essential, including enemas every second day Catheter care required The client is very particular about how tasks are done — attention to detail is critical Must be comfortable with involved personal care A good sense of humour and ability to follow detailed directions is important Mandatory Checks: NDIS Worker Screening Check First Aid & CPR Valid Driver’s Licence Working with children check Australian working rights Pay Rates E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL) SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
