ICT Support Technician Large multi-campus Christian school Ongoing position Pakenham location Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne. We are seeking to appoint an ICT Support Technician to join our ICT team in January next year, based at our Pakenham campus. The successful delivery of Information Technology at Chairo is of high priority and the ICT Support Technician will be expected to provide excellent customer service while learning on the job. Some key responsibilities will include: · Answering phone calls and emails from customers · Monitoring and logging issues in ICT’s Help Desk system · Providing software support and deployment · Providing computer hardware support and deployment (i.e. laptops, desktops, iPads) · Providing educational hardware support (e.g. interactive displays) · Providing other hardware support (e.g. printers, photocopiers) · Maintaining, creating and terminating user accounts · Providing basic networking support of end user devices The successful candidate will have the following: · Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith · Ability to work as part of a team · Ability to relate to students and staff members in a caring, friendly and helpful manner · Willingness to work at multiple campuses as required · Willingness to work out of regular hours on an occasional basis The safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all our students is a high priority.
