About the role This position works in Forensic and Secure Services, incorporating the High Security Inpatient Service (HSIS), Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit (SMHRU) and Extended Forensic Treatment and Rehabilitation Unit (EFTRU). The purpose of this role is to deliver specialised Speech Pathology clinical services and leadership across Forensic and Secure Services. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Demonstrates specialist-level knowledge and skills in contemporary Speech Pathology adult clinical practice standards within one or more areas of expertise. Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment and senior management to influence Speech Pathology clinical or service outcomes. Ability to independently manage highly complex clinical caseloads. Ability to lead quality and service improvement activities that result in improved outcomes for patients/customers and/or the organisation. Mandatory Requirements: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and eligibility for membership with the Speech Pathology Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
