THE OPPORTUNITY We’re excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a passionate and qualified Registered Nurse to join our school community on a fixed-term, part-time role commencing on the 8 October 2025 until the end of Term 2, 2026 . You’ll be working alongside another part-time nurse to provide full-time coverage, ensuring continuous care and support for our students and school community. Days and hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7.30am – 3.30pm during school term periods. Student and staff wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. As a School Nurse, you’ll play a key role in promoting a safe, healthy, and supportive environment—responding to medical needs, managing health records, and offering care to students, staff, and visitors when required. This role is ideal for someone who brings energy, empathy, and professionalism to their work. While previous experience in a school or similar setting is a plus, it’s not essential. WHAT YOU WILL BRING To be successful in this role, it is envisaged that you will be highly organised, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, as well as ; Registered Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Current Senior First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Defibrillation Certificate Knowledge of legislation relevant to this position, including school nursing practice and adolescent healthcare Ability to manage day-to-day workflow in an efficient and flexible way, allowing for the many unscheduled interruptions that occur Demonstrated interpersonal skills, to liaise with students, staff and parents Ability to remain calm and to effectively manage a diverse range of student needs. Competent in the use of computers, Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new systems.
