Clarence Valley Council is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team at the Townsend Depot. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the reliable maintenance and repair of Council’s plant and fleet, supporting the services that keep our community moving. As Workshop Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, manage a small team, and coordinate both planned and unplanned maintenance. You’ll apply your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues, ensure compliance with safety and registration standards and maintain accurate service records. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance workshop efficiency, staff development and high-quality service delivery. To be considered for this position you will need to: Address the essential requirements of the role as per position description Supply relevant certificates and licences Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date resume (5 pages maximum) that clearly details your skills & experience as relevant to this position. What approach do you take to leading, training, and motivating staff in a workshop environment? Q3. Council workshops must operate under strict WHS and RMS/ADR regulations.
