Electric Tower Crane Technician Our client provides high‑quality crane installation, servicing, maintenance and support for tower cranes across Melbourne and Victoria. They prioritise safety, technical excellence and professional growth. We’re looking for someone who thrives working at heights, solving electrical & drive system challenges, and stepping up into a responsible technical role. The Role: As an Electric Tower Crane Technician, you will: Maintain, diagnose, repair and service electrical systems on tower cranes. Have strong proficiency with variable speed / frequency drives (VSD/VFD), electric motors, and switching componentry. Perform fault finding: control panels, drives, wiring, motor windings, PLCs / VFDs, etc. Assist in commissioning, installation / dismantling / “climbing” of tower cranes – this will involve work at height, so being comfortable and safe when working above ground is essential Maintain documentation: service reports, maintenance logs, safety checks Ensure all work complies with OH&S / WHS regulations Travel to job sites in Melbourne as required Essential Qualifications / Certificates: Licensed electrician (A‑Grade or equivalent) with strong electrical background Technical Supervisor Certificate with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) – or able to be nominated / hold consent for this role.
