The Role We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Recruitment Consultant to own the Cyber Security desk at Preacta. Grow the cyber desk as your own and champion this space as a highly specialised offering to clients. You will benefit from warm introductions across a solid client base while proactively driving business opportunities and building long-term partnerships in the cyber security space. Reporting to a Practice Lead and top biller, you will have immediate access to established client relationships and the autonomy to shape your career growth, with potential to become a top biller, build a delivery team, or move into a team leadership role. What to Expect Own and grow Preacta’s cyber security recruitment desk across permanent and contract markets. From day one, leverage established client relationships while proactively prospecting new opportunities. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and position yourself as a trusted advisor in the Australian cyber security market. With autonomy to shape your career growth, success could include leading a team or expanding the desk. Responsibilities Client Development & Relationship Management: build and maintain client relationships, take recruitment briefs, understand business needs. Identify and develop new business opportunities, negotiate conditions and fees, and grow the client base. Advise clients on recruitment issues, market trends, and competitor activity. Source candidates through advertising, marketing, networking, and headhunting. Screen, interview, reference check, and prepare candidates for client interviews. Present tailored shortlists and provide career and market advice to candidates. Offer Management & Negotiation Arrange and negotiate job offers, including salary packages and contract conditions, ensuring a positive experience for clients and candidates. Knowledge & Skills Strong track record in cyber security recruitment, ideally at Senior or Principal level. Solid business development and client relationship management skills. Proactive, commercially minded, and results-driven. Experience managing end-to-end recruitment lifecycle through an ATS or Recruitment CRM.
