We are seeking a dynamic and values-driven Regional Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional employment support services. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring compliance, and overseeing service delivery across the Westgate region, which includes the following sites: Altona Meadows, Footscray, Melton, Sunshine, Taylors Lakes, Werribee, Tarneit, and Bacchus Marsh. Key responsibilities: Ensure the teams within the region meet performance KPI’s. Within the allocated region(s): Ensure the accountability of all leaders for the performance of the team. Effectively coach and support leaders to build a culture of continuous improvement and positive performance. Identify and analyse performance shortfalls, and work with leaders to formulate and implement improvement strategies. Contribute to strategic, operational and project planning within the Employment portfolio. Actively represent SYC in the region/s to strengthen its position as a provider of high-quality, person-centric services. Establish, build, and maintain effective networks and relationships with relevant stakeholders to identify opportunities for continual improvement and drive sustainable growth. Assess proposals from external bodies and provide advice to the General Manager/IE Operations Manager on acceptance or otherwise. About You Proven experience in successfully managing and leading a result-driven team in a contract compliance environment. Experience working directly with key internal and external stakeholders, including management at a variety of levels. Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan, organise and establish a course of action for self and others to accomplish specific goals and quality outcomes. Demonstrate sound working knowledge of Government Employment Services, contractual requirements and KPIs and Health and Safety legislation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective cross-cultural relationships and be respectful and responsive to the needs, values, and experiences of others. Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands. Key screening requirements: Must be willing to complete a Working with Children Check, National Police Check and Bankruptcy Check. Possession of a current valid Driver’s License, willingness to drive Where a motor vehicle allowance is paid for the use of the employee’s personal vehicle for work purposes, the employee’s vehicle must meet the minimum requirements outlined in the Motor Vehicle Policy and Procedure to be used for SYC business purposes.
