Description We currently have an opportunity for a Full Time Senior Security Officer to join the team at Royal Children’s Hospital. You will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all staff, and visitors to sites. Reporting to Gavin Rice, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do: This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Patrolling the premises and responding to emergency incidents Monitoring all CCTV, alarms, telephone and radio systems, Assuring the delivery of a safe and secure precinct whilst adhering to the policies and procedures of Downer. Directing security officers to attend incidents to meet the contractual requirements of the Royal Children’s Hospital under the direction of the Security Team Leader Security supervisor or Security and Carpark Manager. What You’ll Bring: Current Victorian Security License and Driver's License Current First Aid and CPR qualification (or copy of the application) The ability to apply for a Blue Card (working with children) Experience working in a customer-facing environment. Strong computer skills Focus on safety and customer service.
