Position Overview As Electronics Engineering Manager, you'll step into a pivotal leadership role overseeing a growing multidisciplinary team. With a foundation in electronics R&D, you will act as the Design Authority (DA), guiding development across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production. This is a people-focused role where you'll drive collaboration, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of robust mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow a cross-functional engineering team Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to build capability and drive innovation. Act as Design Authority, ensuring design integrity across the hardware function. Oversee product development from early-stage concepts through to production release. Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering solutions. Foster a positive, high-performance culture aligned with safety, quality, and delivery standards. About You R&D background, with a focus on electronics (not mechanical). Demonstrated leadership experience, with proven success managing high-performing teams. Experience across the full product lifecycle, from research and prototyping to production. Background in product development within complex systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Eligible for an NV1 Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required). Why Apply?
