About the role: This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in: As a Sports Turf Management Apprentice, you'll help maintain golf courses, sports grounds, and landscapes. You'll work on various turf surfaces, learning turf care-mowing, irrigation, drainage, and pest control-while completing a nationally recognised qualification. Assist with maintaining turf areas including greens, tees, fairways, and roughs Operate machinery and complete daily checks and documentation Support irrigation operations and maintenance Contribute to the care of trees, gardens, and landscaped areas What we're looking for - Skills & Experience A genuine interest in turf management or outdoor work Ability to commit to a full-time 4-year apprenticeship, including practical studies Willingness to learn, follow instructions, work in a team, and demonstrate reliability. Good physical fitness, with strong attention to safety and detail. A current driver's licence, along with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, obtain a clear National Police Check, and hold (or be able to obtain) a Working with Children Check, is required for this role.
