Work alongside industry leaders in a supportive, collaborative environment Contribute to high-profile, complex projects that challenge and expand your expertise Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, progressive clients, and key stakeholders Play a pivotal role in growing our traffic engineering capability and mentoring junior engineers Enjoy a vibrant, social workplace with great perks — including salary packaging, flexible work options, and health initiatives Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Prepare and review fee proposals for traffic engineering studies Plan, manage, and deliver assigned projects, monitoring budgets and performance Provide high-level technical advice to colleagues, management, clients, and contractors Report regularly on project progress to senior leadership Traffic Engineering Operations Deliver Traffic Impact Assessments in line with state/authority requirements Undertake parking occupancy surveys and parking studies Conduct intersection and network modelling using SIDRA and AIMSUN 9 Carry out site access, parking, servicing, and swept path assessments Prepare construction traffic management plans with a focus on safety and compliance Design Management Deliver practical, cost-effective, and compliant traffic engineering designs Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports Verify and validate design outputs in line with QA procedures Support and mentor junior engineers in their technical development Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal teams throughout design, documentation, and construction phases Build strong relationships with clients, authorities, and consultants Represent Indesco in meetings and regulatory forums Team & Governance Support a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability Maintain quality, governance, and project documentation to Indesco standards Commit to continuous professional development, with a view to achieving/maintaining Chartered Engineer status through Engineers Australia Desired Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in Engineering Membership of Engineers Australia Accredited Road Safety Auditor 5 years’ experience in traffic and transport engineering Take the Next Step Bring your technical acumen, creativity, and vision to a team where they’re not just valued — they’re essential.
