About the Role The role of the carer support officer is to coordinate all aspects of support, training and development of foster carers to ensure that all of their holistic needs are met, and they have the knowledge, skills and experience to provide stable and safe care to children in foster care. The carer support officer is responsible for the ongoing support, development and mentoring of carers who care for young people in Lifestyle Solutions foster care program to support the permanency and quality care of children and young people we support.
